There are several things that can be done to reduce electromagnetic interference with a transducer.
Install a ferrite bead on the transducer cable as close to the end of the connector as possible, which is connected directly to the chartplotter, fishfinder, or sonar module
Route the transducer cable away from other powered cables
If a transducer or network cable must cross-over a power cable, ensure the cables are orientated 90-degrees apart from the power cable
Insulate the transducer cable (use rubber wrap, copper tubing, EMI tape)
Make sure transducer cable and other cords are properly grounded
Ensure chartplotter / sounder is properly grounded
Install a ferrite bead on the Garmin Marine Network cable as close to the end of the connector, which is connected directly to the chartplotter, fishfinder, or sonar module
